We are a youth-driven environmental and sustainability organization in Uganda. We work where climate science meets community: in Kampala's neighborhoods, schools, councils, and waterways — building the practical, local responses our generation needs.

Districts served
Ecobridge was founded in 2022 by six university students in Kampala after a season of devastating floods. We started with one weekend of cleanups. Three years later we run programs in nine districts, train fellows who go on to lead, and publish open research the city actually uses.
We operate at the intersection of climate science, community organizing, and youth leadership. Our programs span waste management, renewable energy, environmental health, and open climate data — but the through-line is the same: solutions designed with the people who live the problem.

/ What we stand for
Vision
A generation of African youth equipped to lead the climate solutions their communities need.
Mission
Bridge research, community, and youth leadership to build practical, durable responses to the climate crisis across Uganda.
Every program starts and ends with the people most affected. We listen first.
Open data, peer-reviewed methods, and honest reporting — including what does not work.
The generation that inherits this climate writes the strategy. We resource them to lead.
We design programs and partnerships that outlive their grants. Resilience is the work.
